Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) - Acute Care

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Provide patient and family education regarding care, medications, and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or eligible for licensure
- 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred, LTAC experience considered)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Previous acute care experience
