Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care | Florida Licensed

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications, procedures, and aftercare
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices and safety protocols
- Mentor and support nursing staff in delivering excellent patient care
- Manage medical equipment and supplies efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Experience with electronic health records
- Med-Surg certification (CMSRN or RN-BC)
