Position Overview:
- Full-time position in high-volume Emergency Department (22,000 annual visits)
- $200,000 annual compensation ($115/hour, 1099 contract)
- Modern EMR system supporting efficient workflow
- Collaborative practice environment with experienced physicians
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care in fast-paced environment
- Perform advanced trauma management and acute care procedures
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Implement evidence-based treatment protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Ensure seamless care transitions and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Active PA or NP license (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine or acute care experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Graduate of accredited NP or PA program
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellence in team collaboration
Preferred:
- ATLS certification
- Previous Level II trauma center experience
Schedule Highlights:
- 12 shifts per month average
- Monday-Friday: 11am-11pm
- Saturday-Sunday: 11am-9pm
- No overnight shifts required
