Senior Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT Technologist
Join a leading healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY, as a Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT Technologist. This full-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a modern outpatient setting with state-of-the-art hybrid imaging equipment, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using hybrid PET/CT and SPECT/CT systems
- Calculate, prepare, and administer radioactive isotopes according to established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while providing clear examination instructions
- Verify and validate physician orders and patient identification
- Conduct and document all required quality control procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Stay current with continuing education requirements and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
- Valid New York State DOH Nuclear Medicine License
- Current CPR certification
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
- Previous experience with PET/CT imaging (training provided for qualified candidates)
