Key Responsibilities
• Manage and mentor Patient Access staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency
• Oversee Meditech training for all ADM users, including decentralized Access areas
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
• Prepare staff schedules and process payroll, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
• Monitor and improve departmental productivity and work quality
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Verify daily census and resolve insurance claim processing errors
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Financial Services
• Prior supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and medical billing/coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and medical software systems (e.g., Meditech)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards
