- Operate advanced MRI scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform patient screening, obtain comprehensive medical histories, and explain procedures
- Administer contrast media following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Maintain strict magnetic field safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Execute quality assurance procedures on MRI equipment
- Document patient care in Cerner EMR system with precision and accuracy
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to optimize imaging protocols
- Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety goals and HIPAA requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (MR) certification
- Valid Kentucky State Radiation License
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Strong patient care and communication skills
