Perinatal & Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Perinatal Sonographer, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional diagnostic care to expectant mothers and their babies. Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic sonographic examinations, including fetal assessments and maternal imaging
- Generate and analyze detailed ultrasound images using advanced diagnostic technologies
- Prepare accurate, detailed preliminary reports and communicate findings to physicians
- Manage daily workflow and maintain PACS system documentation
- Ensure optimal equipment performance and maintain quality control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate clinical judgment
Required Qualifications:
- Current ARDMS registration required (RV credential accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in obstetric/gynecologic sonography
- Current BLS certification
- Proven experience in both clinical and inpatient ultrasound settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification
- NRP certification
- Experience with high-risk obstetric cases
