Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist
Join our dynamic surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art operating room environment. As a valued member of our surgical team, you'll collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals while utilizing your expertise in sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during procedures
- Ensure proper handling, care, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor and assess operating room conditions for optimal patient safety
- Anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and respond accordingly
- Collaborate with perioperative team members to ensure successful surgical outcomes
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current State Board certification in Surgical Technology
- Valid BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques
