Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative patient care through continuous assessment and monitoring during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Execute physician orders and perform specialized surgical procedures with precision
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses throughout the perioperative period
- Demonstrate proficiency with surgical equipment, instruments, and emerging technologies
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 surgical coverage
Required Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Florida RN license or Multi-state Compact License
- Minimum one year of acute care hospital OR experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or American Red Cross
- Strong clinical knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
