Clinical Nurse Manager - ICU/Critical Care
Join Wesley Medical Center as a Nurse Manager and lead our dedicated ICU team in delivering exceptional patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to drive quality outcomes and foster a culture of excellence in our Critical Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of critical care nurses while maintaining 24-hour unit accountability
- Drive implementation of evidence-based practices and quality measures
- Manage operational, fiscal, and human resource functions
- Oversee clinical quality initiatives including VAP prevention, pressure wound care, and core measure compliance
- Participate in strategic planning and program development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Current Kansas RN license
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years ICU/Critical Care nursing experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience (Charge Nurse experience considered)
- Strong clinical competencies in critical care procedures and protocols
- Excellence in EKG interpretation, ventilator management, and critical care medication administration
