Essential Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a high degree of independence
- Customize examination protocols based on patient conditions and diagnostic requirements
- Operate sophisticated ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Maintain detailed patient records using Epic EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior sonographers and students
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS registration with ABD or OB/GYN credential
- Graduate of CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical scanning experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist patients and manage equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Level I trauma center experience
- Epic EMR proficiency
- Multiple ARDMS credentials
- Bachelor's degree in related field
Schedule Details
- Night Shift Position: Sunday 9PM-7AM, Monday-Wednesday 8PM-6AM
