Summary
Great Beginnings Early Learning Center is a privately owned and operated Christian Preschool. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Director to come along side our Center Director and Management Team to equip children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old as the play, learn, and grow in our nuturing educational program. The Assistant Director works from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and partners with educators, families, and children while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Center Director in ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center’s care. Under the direction of the Center Director, the Assistant Director collaborates with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered, the center runs smoothly under the guidance of operational management systems and that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately.
Duties
- Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
- Strict adherence to the Department of Education Licensing Standards.
- Operations Management and daily center oversight.
- Aid in hiring, incentivizing, disciplining, and maintaining compliance management with staff.
- Employee Review and Appraisal.
- Center designee
- Flexibility and problem solving.
- Creative Classroom Management.
- Updating Center Standards and ensuring compliance amongst team members.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.
