We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join us as HR and Office Manager for our on-site and remote team. This part-time position offers allows the ideal candidate to set their own hours within our normal work week. As an HR and Office Manager, you will be responsible for employee data as well as updating the policies of our company to be compliant with State and Federal mandates, and organizing office operations and procedures. You will also have responsibility for day-to-day support for our team. You should be high integrity, highly dedicated, have exceptional organizational skills, and be proficient in the hiring process. Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in all aspects of hiring with a knowledge of employment regulations
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of applicable work experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
- Ability to maintain confidential employee personal records
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with an ability to multitask
- Ability to support a hybrid remote and in-person team
- Ability to interface with IT for project oversight
Responsibilities
- Process employee data as well as update the policies of the company
- Organize office operations and procedures, and manage day-to-day activities including supply ordering for office and summer campuses, mailings and post office trips
- On-board seasonal employees
- Oversee personnel records (e.g., contracts, PTO and so on)
- Oversee management of network and virtual office platforms
- Post occasional job openings, schedule prospective candidate’s job interviews and be a point of contact as required
- Respond to inquiries of employees with respect to benefits like the precedent, number of qualified vacation days, etc.
- Provide sales and marketing support
This position is located in Fairfield, CT. A typical week will include virtual and in-person office hours. Currently in office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, virtual Tuesday and Friday
