Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and nurturing individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate should have some experience working with young students and a passion for early childhood education, but we are willing to train the right individual wo does not possess this experience. The lead teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing a safe and supportive environment for our littlest scholars. The successful candidate will be committed to helping our students develop their skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure that students are well-behaved and respectful
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs,
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting student learning
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Ensure that all lesson plans and activities align with the school's curriculum and standards
- Assess and track student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Provide regular feedback and communication to parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development and training programs to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
-CDA or Associates or Bachelors is helpful, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience working with young students, preferably in a preschool or private school setting
- Excellent behavior management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
