What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakout Order Specialist position at Great Day Improvements: A Family of Brands?
Overview :
The Breakout Order Specialist (BOS) performs the breakout, ordering, CAD submittals, and permit submittals for installations. The BOS will also be responsible for reviewing all jobs prior to order for errors or omissions. Occasionally the BOS may be asked to perform field measures on more complex projects or as business needs arise.
Responsibilities :
1. Maintain branch production timelines within job duties
2. Check jobs for potential installation problems
3. Review concerns with Operations Superintendent and Regional Operations Manager
4. Break out jobs on computer
5. Break out / order all peripheral / non-PE materials and provide list for ordering items prior to scheduled installation
6. Create a list of all materials so that job may be properly staged in the warehouse
7. Review contract with customer
8. Deal positively with the customer and / or employee
9. Prepare / review jobs for CAD, zoning, HOA, and / or permitting as needed
10. Permit drop off / pick up as needed
11. Work with subcontractors regarding foundation or PE breakout / installation questions
12. Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications :
Three to five years of product experience as an installer and / or carpenter. Must understand all product lines and know how to diagnose and correct service problems. Able to use various power and hand tools. Able to communicate effectively with the customer and employees. Computer knowledge is helpful.

1. Revenue projections of branch
2. Project timelines in line with branch production timelines
3. Customer service surveys, top score of 90% or better
