As the Regional Event Manager, you will take charge of researching, developing, and managing local partnerships, and events to drive lead generation and brand awareness. You’ll recruit, hire, train, and lead a team of Field Marketers, ensuring their success through effective development and accountability. This key role includes sourcing direct-to-consumer events, overseeing budgets, resource planning, and schedules, while executing events with precision and impact. Reporting to the National Events Manager, you’ll play a vital part in the marketing strategy, helping to achieve organizational goals and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Research, organize, and manage local events to generate maximum sales leads and appointments.
- Connect with potential customers to schedule in-home consultations for Patio Enclosures sales representatives.
- Recruit, train, and mentor field marketing teams to ensure local success and team development.
- Optimize budgets to maximize ROI for each event and establish achievable goals alongside management.
- Handle team scheduling, payroll approvals, and conduct performance reviews to drive improvement.
- Analyze results to identify areas for growth and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to align strategies and support larger organizational objectives.
As a Regional Event Manger, you’ll balance indoor and outdoor tasks in varied environments, from climate-controlled offices to bustling event settings in unpredictable weather. Physical demands are light, including lifting and moving equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds. This role also requires stamina for standing, walking, and engaging with customers for extended periods during events. Adaptability and energy are key to thrive in this dynamic and hands-on position.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or a blend of education, training, and experience.
- 2 years leading teams with proven recruiting and training success.
- Skilled in budgeting, planning, and event strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
- A self-starter who thrives on managing and developing others.
- Adaptable multitasker who excels in prioritizing demands.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- In-the-know about current event marketing best practices and strategies.
- Ready to work evenings, weekends, and manage pre-scheduled events.
- Energized by fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Empathetic and service-driven with a focus on clear communication.
- A logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and critical evaluation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more).

Travel Expectations: Frequent domestic travel, exceeding 50%, is required.
