- Lead day-to-day department activities to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production goals while aligning with consumer referability and customers for life standards.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including safety, quality, production efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory management.
- Foster a coaching and mentor mentality, providing guidance and professional development to Team Leads and associates.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding expectations, schedules, production requirements, and safety measures.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new supervisors to ensure a seamless transition and knowledge transfer.
- Set daily team goals, assign team members to workstations, and provide clear direction to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor production performance, ensuring goals are met, and take proactive corrective actions when necessary.
- Measure, communicate, and improve key performance indicators to drive team and organizational success.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and facility safety policies and lead safety initiatives.
- Promote a destination employer culture, fostering an environment where employees feel valued, engaged, and motivated to contribute to long-term success.
- Conduct inspections of materials, products, and equipment to identify and address quality concerns.
- Support employee cross-training efforts to enhance departmental flexibility and skill development.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and efficient work environment in alignment with 5S 1 principles.
- Drive cost reduction, inventory management, and lead time improvements through lean methodologies.
- Provide performance coaching, address behavior or attendance concerns, and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
- Participate in financial reviews and contribute to cost control and operational efficiency strategies.
- Lead by example to inspire high-performance behaviors and a growth mindset across the team.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish required.
- Strong ability to implement and drive organizational processes effectively.
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate, develop, and mentor employees while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience leading and engaging diverse teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Ability to train and onboard new employees to ensure continuous learning and adaptation.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and delegation skills.
- Knowledge of safe operations of power tools, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Passion for creating a team-oriented, collaborative work culture that supports long-term employee growth.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and timekeeping software.
