As of the Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the daily Manufactured products and will assist in leading a lean manufacturing environment.
- Inspecting finished products and raw materials samples using appropriate devices to ensure conformity.
- Performing pre-production and in-production tests of equipment, material, and manufactured products.
- Determining the causes of product defects and proposing improvements to the production process.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, standards, procedures, and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations.
- Checking that the production line adheres to standards and procedures.
- Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
- Communicating with Managers/ Production Supervisors and team members.
- Providing daily reports to the Quality Supervisor.
- Additional duties as needed.
- 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
- 2 years’ experience in QC is preferred.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in the use of measuring devices, gauging, and working with close tolerances.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is desired but not mandatory.
- Able to work scheduled overtime on a regular basis.
- Open to work different shifts when needed and as business dictates.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
