Job Summary
The Golf Range Attendant works to enhance the efficiency of the range operation by maintaining all outdoor responsibilities through picking, washing, and returning range balls to range dispenser. High school diploma or the equivalency is necessary unless currently attending school. A valid driver’s license is required to operate golf carts. The range attendant position requires that an employee stand for long periods of time outside with physical requirements such as stooping, bending, and lifting an average weight of 30 pounds.

Varied including weekends and holidays

Varied including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Core Responsibilities
- Collect range balls via safe operation of the range cart and picker
- Hand-pick golf balls in the areas that the picking unit is unable to collect
- Transport and wash golf balls that have been collected
- Monitor condition of and total number of golf balls in range dispenser
- Maintain the driving range hitting area in a professional manner
- Maintain equipment and facility including: John Deere range cart, picking unit, ball washer, and ball dispenser
- Ensure cleanliness of all yardage markers and maintenance shop
- Inform Golf Shop Supervisor of any problems or complaints from customers as soon as possible
- Other duties as assigned by management
