Great Escapes RV Resorts- North Port Huron Jellystone Park is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
The Grounds crew is responsible for maintaining the overall camp-resort appearance during park operation. This position focuses on a wide variety of projects relating to landscaping, planting, mulching, weeding, and lawn maintenance.
This is a seasonal job role that reports to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (these duties include, but are not limited to):
- Mowing, weed-wacking, weeding, etc. required.
- Waters, repairs, and fertilizes lawns, trees, and plants.
- Prunes trees and shrubs and rakes leaves
- Inspects equipment and facilities to ensure that they are in good working order and reports on repairs needed.
- Experience driving large tractors is a plus.
- Must be available weekends and evenings.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Removal of trash and preparation of campsites for new guests.
- Knowledge of rest room cleaning process.
- Other Job Duties as assigned.
- Possess exceptional guest relations skills.
- Weekend & holiday hours are required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as maintenance technician.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
