- Maintain cleanliness of the clinic by performing routine cleaning tasks, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic, reporting any changes or concerns to the veterinary staff.
- Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising as needed.
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians or technicians.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatments, and medications administered.
- Educate pet owners on proper pet care practices and post-treatment instructions.
Skills
- Proficient in animal handling techniques with a strong understanding of animal behavior.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is essential for effective communication within the team.
