What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist - MRI position at Great Falls Clinic Medical Center?

**External candidates only. Retention bonus amount offered based on years of experience.** POSITION OVERVIEW:Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, participates in call rotation.
Education:
Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered, required.
- Current State License, required.
- BLS, required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures.
- Anatomy and Physiology. Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
- Ability to follow and apply written direction.
- Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams.
- Computer and keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol.
- Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI.
- Skill in injecting contrast media.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
