Certification Details Current State of Montana RN Licensure BLS ACLS PALS certification required within X days Job Details Critical Care RN Hospital with 36 licensed Inpatient Beds and 10 ICU beds. Expanding cardiac services, higher acuity patients and need Critical Care Trained Nurse. Permanent placement salary wage range negotiable. Job Requirements Minimum Education and / or Experience Required : Education : High School Diploma or equivalent And Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program Knowledge : Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures; Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience preferred. Skills : Use of basic office equipment, use of multiple IV pumps, ability to operate advanced medical equipment, including A- lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, patients requiring noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support, basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation. Additional Experience and / or Qualifications : Recent Critical Care Unit Specific Information Organizational Relationships : Receives direction from : Providers, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, DON Gives direction to : RN : LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff Works cooperatively with : Providers, Healthcare Professionals, and Allied Health Staff Position Overview : The Medical Surgical / Progressive Care nurse will provide care to the hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a cardiac medical surgical unit. This includes providing physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural support to the patient.
