As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site field operations for commercial and residential construction projects. This role requires collaboration with the entire project team—including the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Foreman, and other field personnel—to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Manage the overall project and three weeks look ahead schedules, including create the master schedule and updating it on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
- Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.
- Responsible for site safety. Follow all safety rules and Federal, State, local, and client regulations as well as implement company safety program to maintain a safe environment.
- Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.
- Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacture’s data and execute project based upon documentation.
- Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate their solutions.
- Conduct and/or participate in on site meetings involving internal staff, subcontractors, and external stakeholders such as owners, subcontractors, etc.
- Generate RFI’s (Request for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies.
- Review submittals for compliance with project manual and plans, manufacturer’s recommendations and code, or other standards applicable to the system.
- Managing the punch list and project closeout process to ensure timely completion.
- Review and maintain field documentation such as field reports, schedule updates, and email correspondence for completeness and constructability.
- Manage subcontractors for all work performed on site.
- Five plus years of proven leadership or supervisory role.
- Has a bias toward action and an impatience towards those that lack focus and/or the ability to produce quality results
- Has a passion for construction, a desire and natural instinct to build.
- Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules.
- Understands project control and change order management
- Has strong math and analytical skills.
- Has strong problem-solving skills that involve a bias to work within established systems and agility to work outside of the system when necessary to get timely results.
- Is goal orientated and can react quickly to challenging circumstances to achieve the desired end result.
- Is proactive, plans well and addresses problems promptly.
