POSITION OVERVIEW:
Collaborates closely with providers and fellow ophthalmic technicians within the department to ensure optimal patient care. This role receives direction from the providers and clinic leader(s), working as part of a cohesive team to support patient needs and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.Summary
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in the clinic setting, preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS, required
- COA certification, preferred
- CNA certification, preferred - follows most current standards for continuing education requirements dictated by State/Federal Licensure regulations
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Medical Terminology
- Keyboarding skills
- Basic office skills
