Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule and coordinate septic system inspections, maintenance, and service appointments.
- Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and timelines.
- Handle customer concerns, resolve issues when possible, and escalate complex complaints to management if needed.
- Maintain and update customer records, service histories, and billing information.
- Process payments, invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with field technicians to ensure accurate scheduling and service delivery.
- Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and ensure satisfaction after service.
- Assist in preparing and sending customer reminders, quotes, and follow-up communications.
- Stay informed about company services, policies, and industry regulations.
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred
- Comfortable using computers
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
