Do you enjoy serving others with a smile? At Great Harvest NWI, we’re seeking a Customer Service Representative to help create exceptional experiences for our customers in a warm and welcoming bakery café environment.
About Us:
We’re a family-owned bakery café passionate about crafting fresh, from-scratch baked goods. We strive to deliver excellent customer service and provide a space where our community can gather and connect.
Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Serve customers in-store, through the drive-thru, and over the phone.
- Package bread and goodies with care and attention to presentation.
- Keep the bakery and café lobby, production area, and customer spaces clean and organized.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food delivery to the lobby and parked cars.
- Stock food and dry good items as deliveries arrive and as needed throughout the day.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our products and menu items.
- Cross-train with our sandwich crew to help if/as needed to fulfill orders.
- Uphold food-handling and safety guidelines.
- Support other bakery tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a desire to create memorable experiences.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 14 years (must have a telephone).
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform physically demanding tasks (with or without accommodation).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including holiday seasons (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
