Administrative Assistant (Temporary)

Summary :

Reputable Accounting Firm located in Simi Valley seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant for the tax season. Please note that this role is temporary.

Key responsibilities may include :

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Filing and maintaining paper and electronic records
  • Data entry and basic record keeping
  • Creating and editing documents using Microsoft Word and other office applications
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Copying and distributing documents
  • Supporting with basic project coordination tasks
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Performing basic internet research

Required skills and qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Basic understanding of office procedures
