Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures, including routine and emergency surgeries.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and other treatments as required.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various health issues.
- Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and overall animal wellness.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan.
- Proven experience in a veterinary practice is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills with a commitment to high-quality care.
