Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our auto auction by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lot, assisting customers, and supporting various auction functions. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the auction lot.
- Responsible for moving vehicles on lot for preparation of sale, clearing lot, movement of vehicles to various work stations.
- Ability to operate various equipment types. (Ex. Snatch trucks and fork lifts)
- Assist customers with locating vehicles and provide information about available inventory.
- Drive vehicles to designated areas for display or delivery, ensuring they are parked safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers with locating vehicles, and any needs they require to start vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping track of vehicle locations and status updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating vehicles on the lot.
Requirements
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Ability to stand and walk for lengths of time.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
