All Process Servers are hired as independent sub-contractors. You will be responsible for your tools and needs to do your job properly, however we do supply paper and printer ink. You will be able to write many of these things on your taxes like mileage, phone bills, internet, home office and the sort. You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year for your earnings.

As a process server your job will be on the road serving legal documents to a specific person for court purposes. Each of our process servers have general areas, generally in one county or metropolitan area they are responsible for serving in. You are only paid for cases that are successfully served, for each case that is successfully served you are paid a flat rate of $24 per case. Pay periods are every 2 weeks.

The glory of this job is that you have an extremely flexible schedule. For the most part you have free range of creating your own schedule, as long as your work is completed on time.

MUST HAVE AND BE ABLE TO:

• Work mornings, days, nights and some weekends (very flexible)
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening
• Have access to internet
• Have access to a computer, scanner and printer
• A smart phone
• Reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities:

• Printing cases
• Checking emails
• Receiving and making some phone calls
• Organizing and creating daily driving routes
• Serving legal documents at multiple addresses
• Using our app to properly document attempts and service of cases
• communicating efficiently with office staff
