Job Overview
A Lamination Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining lamination equipment. This position ensures the quality and integrity of the laminated products, monitors the lamination process, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on the equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lamination machinery, including laminators, adhesive applicators, and coating machines.
- Load and unload materials to be laminated.
- Adjust machine settings, such as temperature, speed, and pressure, to ensure proper lamination.
- Inspect materials for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Monitor the lamination process to ensure that the finished product adheres to quality specifications.
- Detect and correct defects, wrinkles, or bubbles in laminated materials.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lamination equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues or malfunctions.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the maintenance department.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Follow all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine settings, materials used, and production quantities.
- Document any quality issues or equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and quality personnel.
- Meet production targets and deadlines and support customer needs.
- Suggest process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience as a Lamination Technician or Operator
- Familiarity with lamination equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
