Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our team.
Duties:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using software
- Set up and operate CNC machine to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining operations
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to ensure efficient production processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficient in CNC software, such as SolidWorks, for program development
- Familiarity with controls and programming language
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
