Job Overview
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, employees, and other guests of the organization. This position is responsible for general administrative support. They also ensure positive contact and facilitate communication channels throughout the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and redirect calls and maintain updated internal phone directory.
- Office support; make copies, scan, electronically file, laminate, etc.
- Support HR department though employee relations activities, scheduling interviews, making badges, distributing special occasion cards for signatures, etc.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Back-up to add and manage users in Fastenal system
- Assist in the recruiting process by scheduling and conducting interviews and coordinating post-offer requirements.
- Assist in On-boarding by coordinating new hire checklist completion in HRIS system, conducting new hire orientation, time clock enrollment, etc.
- Maintain employee data in HRIS program
- Back-up to Administrative Assistant, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bilingual in Spanish required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
