Job Summary
This position is for a seasonal kitchen prep individual. 20-40 hours per week. Additional hours available if you would like to work some scooping shifts. $16/hour. **REQUIREMENT** Must be available atleast Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, March - September
Responsibilities
- Utilize kitchen equipment to prepare gourmet ice cream inclusions including cookie dough, ice cream cookie sandwiches, ice cream variegates, ice cream inclusions, baked goods, etc...
- Assist kitchen manager in making ice cream 4-6 days per week including tubs, 8oz cups and 32oz quarts
- Assist cake decorator in preparation of artisanal ice cream cakes
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
- **REQUIREMENT** Must be available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, March - September
- Creative ability a plus
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment a big plus
- Ability to work well with others for 6 hours at a time, multiple days per week
- Can handle repetitive tasks
- Weekends as necessary
- Ability to stand for the entirety of your shift
- Will need to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Must be able to work with a variety of allergens including peanuts, tree nuts and milk
