Machine Set-up

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and engineering, with hands-on experience in operating machinery and tools. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. The Technician will work closely with other team members to troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Job Overview

The Set-Up Tech is responsible for the set up and operation of production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Ensures final product meets customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure all safety protocols, including PPE requirements are followed.

· Set up machinery for operation and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance.

· Operate machinery according to instructions.

· Operate and change dust systems.

· Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to management.

· Feeds machine in a safe and efficient manner according to established procedures.

· Maintains accurate records of production sheets.

· Maintain optimal cleanliness of plant to ensure a safe worksite.

· Participates in safety and other programs.

· Follows all safety protocols and actively participate in training.

· Other duties may be assigned or reassigned at any time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
• Organized, analytical thinker, and problem solver.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Education and Experience

• Two year’s related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; required.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
