What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Utility player position at Great Lakes Landscape Design?
Job Summary:
The Utility Player is primarily responsible for small landscaping tasks that can be completed by one individual rather than a crew, or “one man jobs” – including but not limited to plant replacements, irrigation repairs, LV lighting repairs as well as other small jobs. In addition the Utility Player will help with material deliveries to jobsites, as well as material acquisition from vendors as needed. During winter months, they will be responsible for assisting with snow removal.

Responsibilities:
- Plant replacements & installations
- Minor low voltage lighting repairs
- Minor irrigation repairs
- Acquisition of materials from vendors
- Delivery of materials to jobsites
- Usage of LMN Time to track time
- Usage of Flowtrak to track materials
- Usage of Slack for communication
- Snow removal during winter months
Required Skills:
- Landscaping knowledge
- Ability to backup a trailer
- Operation of skidsteers & loaders (preferred, but can train the right candidate)
Required Experience & Licenses:
- Chauffer’s license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
