What are the responsibilities and job description for the Section Leader position at Great Lakes Loons?
A Loons Section Leader will serve patrons by showing high standards of guest service at all times thus providing a helpful and friendly environment in seating areas. Qualified candidate must have the ability to multi-task while working in the seating bowl and lawn areas which can include helping patrons locate their assigned seats, solve any ticketing problems as well as answering general questions regarding Dow Diamond. Candidates must also be willing to assist in cleanup of work area both during the game and after each game.
You may be assigned to work at various locations/sections within the stadium including:
- Reserved Seating- Candidate will have oversight for an entire section. Candidate must be able to walk up and down stairs for the duration of the game, help patrons locate their assigned seats, interact and engage with fans.
- Northern Lights Pavilion- Candidate will be checking tickets to ensure guests have access to the group area, help individuals find group seating, assist in clearing of tables in the picnic group area.
- Outfield- Candidate will assist patrons in finding seats, ensuring safe activity of patrons in all grass areas.
- Door Guard- Candidate must have the ability to multi-task while working in promotional tunnels and passenger elevator which can include answering general questions regarding Dow Diamond. Candidate must also be willing to assist in cleanup of work area as well as seating bowl after each game.
- Playground Assistant- Candidates must provide a helpful and friendly environment in Lou E. Loon’s Lookout. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task while working in the playground which can include interacting with children ages 2-12, ensuring safety of all patrons as well as answering general questions regarding Dow Diamond.

Must be able to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. You will have the responsibility of working safely at all times.
Physical Demands:
Ability to withstand outdoor elements: heat or cold as well as being on your feet for extended periods of time possibly in one spot (minimum of 5 hours). Elevated noise levels are to be expected. Must be able to do the following: climb stairs and push up to 150 pounds.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service equivalents is preferred
