Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound tech to join our team at Great Lakes Medical Associates, PC. Part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and Carotid Ultrasound and providing diagnostic evaluations to assist in the assessment of patients' cardiovascular health. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively, and be self-motivated.
Duties
- Perform echocardiograms on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain patient safety and prevent infection.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Stay current with advancements in echocardiography techniques and technologies to enhance patient care.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Echocardiographer or in a similar role within a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular health.
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems is preferred.
