Job Purpose / Performance Outputs:
Pull, Packs, and ships UPS and FedEx small parcel shipments
Packs and ships company products going on motor freight carriers
Essential Functions Performed: (Other functions/tasks may be required besides those listed)
Loads and Unloads motor freight trucks
· Receives inbound UPS/FEDEX shipments; verifies, counts and distributes to the proper location
· Pulls UPS orders and packs them for shipment
· Pulls units and parts for shop jobs
· Calls, schedules pick-ups and packages and loads trucks with motor freight
· Assists with outbound UPS, government and export
· Builds crates and packages air freight shipments
· Provides building maintenance and housekeeping
· Takes inventory of shipping supplies
· Receives items for stock, customer orders, and maintains an orderly and accurate warehouse
· Makes periodic deliveries and postal runs
· Maintains warehouse safety requirements and acceptable housekeeping
· Maintains inventory of warehouse and shipping supplies
· Handles freight quotes for sales department
· PC knowledge ( ERP and windows )

JOB PREREQUISITES (needed upon job entry) Position: Shipping Clerk
Minimum Education Level, Type, Certification :
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Specific Experience - Amount and Type:
1 year minimum warehouse experience
1 years UPS/FedEx packing experience
1 year minimum fork lift operation experience / material handling equipment
JOB CONDITIONS / REQUIREMENTS - Hours, Travel, Physical, Tools, etc.:
Warehouse environment and operating material handling equipment
Regular day work hoursMonday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Forklift experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
