RADON MITIGATION TECHNICIAN
Great Lakes Radon LLC is dedicated to ensuring our customer's homes are safe and healthy by providing a great solution. As the #1 cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers, radon is a highly dangerous gas that requires accurate testing and, if the levels are higher than recommended, proper mitigation.
We’re seeking a full time Radon Mitigation Technician in Kalamazoo to perform assessment and installation of mitigation systems.

Prior experience in radon is not required. We’re willing to train the right person. If you are handy and have trades experience, this would be a great position for you!
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Design and install radon mitigation systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and are effectively reducing radon levels.
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of mitigation methods and post-mitigation radon levels.
- Regularly inspect, service, and maintain installed mitigation systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest radon mitigation technology and techniques.
- Work in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to service jobs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Must have a high aptitude for various construction techniques
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on best practices
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be very detail-oriented
- Must be willing to participate in continuing education and training
