PROGRAM SUPERVISOR- Youth (Negaunee, MI)
Great Lakes Recovery Centers is seeking a Full time Program Supervisor for our Youth Residential Facility in Negaunee, MI. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and three years of experience in the field of Counseling, Juvenile Justice, Substance Abuse, or a Youth Residential Treatment Program. CADC preferred. Master’s Degree preferred along with ability to obtain Certified Clinical Supervisor endorsement through MCBAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsibilities for the administration of adolescent residential programming. * Supervision of all staff and work schedules. * Evaluation of staff performance. * Conduct staff meetings to operationalize the goals and objectives of the program. * Will establish and maintain evaluation systems for program operations to ensure that the program complies with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), DHHS, PIHP, Insurance standards, and all applicable laws and regulations. * Will work with the Director of Children’s Services to be a liaison to Juvenile Court(s), NorthCare, DHHS, Indian Health Services, other funding sources and the community at large. * Will supervise and facilitate staff training. * Will participate in the development and maintenance of supportive services for the resident population, (i.e. education, rehabilitation, aftercare, social and recreational activities). * Will monitor and approve all program expenses and work with Administration on fiscal items. * Responsible for the continual health and welfare of the program residents and in meeting the requirements of a Child Caring Institution. * Maintain regular interface with sub-contractors and ancillary agencies that provide support services to the program (i.e. food, medical, counseling services). * Will coordinate and participate in special meetings with employers, educators, Probation Officers, counselors at ancillary agencies, etc. which are designed to maintain or improve the quality of service to program participants. * Is responsible for the compilation and distribution of reports, evaluations, and summaries related to the program. * Is responsible for the general management and development of policies and procedures deemed necessary subject to the approval of the Executive Director. * Is responsible, (supervise the designee), for the maintenance of the physical plant including conformance with specific fire codes, building codes, and safety and sanitation policies of the agency and funding sources. * Process Incident Reports and PIHP Reporting in accordance with Agency Policy. * Maintain Referral Log, Screen Potential Clients for admission, schedule Intakes. * Will share after hours Emergency On-Call.
