Starting pay : $28.00 / h - $40.00 / h (depending experience)
Job May Include :
- Determine the cost and requirements of a project by analyzing its scope, budget, and plans
- Research the costs of materials, equipment, labor, and transportation
- Gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyze company data, prices, and exchange rates using software
- Assess the level of risk for the project
- Prepare material and cost estimates for the project
- Create labor estimates for the project
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
- Present estimates to project managers
- Track the project's costs to ensure budget management
