JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Porter
DEPARTMENT: Fleet Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Lead Mechanic
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt - Hourly
JOB SUMMARY:
The porter / will be responsible for maintaining the garage, grounds, and buildings. As well as completing other tasks as assigned. General labor tasks.
DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE :
Ø Mop floors in the kitchen and vacuum driver lobby.
Ø Wipe down and clean all tables, chairs, and counter tops in building.
Ø Sweep garage and clean floor, keep floor clean and dry.
Ø Take out garbage.
Ø Walk the grounds ensuring all trash is picked up.
Ø Bring in/ Take out mail if necessary.
Ø Respond to any / all requests from management.
Ø Run errands to pick up auto parts

3. Ability to follow general and specific verbal and written direction.
4. Ability to conduct several tasks concurrently.
5. Aggressively complete any/all other duties assigned to ensure smooth operations in fleet maintenance as well as throughout the company.
6. Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be able to understand and speak English fluently and clearly. Must possess basic math and computer skills.
