Veterinary Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality veterinary services. This role involves working closely with veterinarians and pet owners to ensure the health and well-being of animals. The Veterinary Technician will assist in various procedures, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
• Perform aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
• Proficient nail trimmer and anal gland expression.
• Conduct X-Ray imaging and interpret results as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate veterinary terminology for effective communication within the team.
• Handle dogs safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during visits.
• Maintain records of patient care, treatments administered, and medications given.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in handling animals safely with a focus on their comfort and safety.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
