Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Hamilton Central Executive Director and in accordance with the Christian mission and purpose of the Great Miami Valley YMCA Association, the Site Administrator is responsible for the social, physical, spiritual, and mental development of teens in their care. He or she is also responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all activities, as well as keeping the safety and well-being of teens as a first priority.

Essential Functions:
- Manages, directs, and coordinates summer teen program activities.
- Maintains compliance with YMCA program guidelines. Ensures all teens in their care are registered and have necessary paperwork and waivers.
- Ensures YMCA standards are met, safety procedures are followed and ensures the safety and well-being of teens as a first priority.
- Maintains child-to-staff ratio and is present during program hours.
- Develops and implements weekly plans that are effective and fit needs, interests, and developmental level.
- Manages program budget and ensures program operates within budget.
- Trains, supervises, and evaluates staff on YMCA policies and procedures regarding supervision of children, and communication with parents.
- Maintains the appearance of the teen center and all areas utilized by the program.
- Attends staff meetings and ongoing trainings to be eligible to be a YMCA staff member.
Program Deliverables:
Maintain Daily Attendance of 15–20 Teens Ensure consistent participation by building relationships with youth, creating engaging activities, and conducting outreach to sustain a daily average of at least 15 teens.
Track and Report Demographics Collect and maintain accurate demographic data (age, grade level, school, etc.) for all participants. Submit monthly reports to help guide program improvements and funding opportunities.
Develop Weekly Enrichment Themes/Activities Plan and implement weekly themes or workshops focused on life skills, career readiness, physical wellness, arts, or academic support.
Foster a Safe and Inclusive Environment Create a welcoming space that reflects the YMCA’s core values, supports teen voice and leadership, and upholds behavior expectations through positive reinforcement and mentorship.
Engage Community Partners and Volunteers Coordinate with local schools, nonprofits, and volunteers to bring in guest speakers, field trip opportunities, or collaborative projects at least twice per month.
Evaluate Program Impact Distribute and collect participant surveys at least once per quarter to evaluate satisfaction, measure learning outcomes, and guide future programming.

Qualifications:
1. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
2. Certifications: Current First Aid, Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
3. Two years related experience as a coordinator or supervisor or child care programs preferred.
4. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) while maintaining alertness for long periods of time.
