Job Title: Full Time Dental Hygienist
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Great Oaks Dental Care. As a valued member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral health care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including routine cleanings, exams, and preventative care.
- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, as well as review and update patient records.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Current dental hygienist license in OH.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
