Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of highly engaged members in hiring, orienting, performance assessment and management, motivating, training, scheduling, and coaching to meet department goals.
- Review applications for client admission and approve or refer cases to the utilization review committee as needed.
- Analyze client records to determine appropriateness of admission, treatment, and length of stay, ensuring compliance with government and insurance company reimbursement policies.
- Communicate and coordinate information with the business office to recognize and resolve potential payment issues.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of admission, concurrent, continued stay, and retrospective reviews using established facility criteria.
