Great Outdoors Landscaping is seeking skilled and experienced Landscape and Hardscape Laborer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves overseeing and participating in the installation and maintenance of landscapes and hardscapes for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and proficiency in various landscaping and hardscaping techniques.

**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and coordinate a crew of landscape and hardscape laborers.
- Plan daily tasks and assign responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Interpret landscape and hardscape designs and blueprints, and execute according to specifications.
- Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping and hardscaping tools and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
- Train new crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the installation of various landscape features such as plants, trees, sod, and irrigation systems.
- Install hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.
- Excavate and grade land to prepare for landscaping and hardscaping projects.
- Perform basic carpentry and masonry tasks as needed.
- Operate equipment such as skid-steers, excavators, and compactors.
- Mulch, edge, and weed landscapes as part of maintenance activities.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and job sites.
**General Duties:**
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and physical demands of the job.
- Uphold company standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
- Report progress, issues, and concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in landscaping and hardscaping, with at least 2 years in a similar role preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficiency in operating landscaping and hardscaping equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and materials used in landscaping.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and landscape designs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Compensation:**
- Starting pay $22 per hour based on skills and experience.
