Jour out team at Lake Isabella Boathouse. At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.
This part time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We are looking specifically to fill needs for 11am to closing (between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.).
This position acts as a cashier for the Boathouse. Cashiers closely with our guests, providing product and fishing information. Lake Isabella is a fun environment with people who share a love for nature and fishing. Employees work collaboratively with each other to create a safe, clean, and enriching park.
- Greets and serves customers to ensure satisfaction. Assists in locating specific fishing related merchandise, answers inquiries, and provides information regarding merchandise, rentals, and programs.
- Operates Point of Sale system, receives money, issues change and receipt, and bags merchandise. Opens and closes cash till and prepares deposit based on scheduled shift.
- Arranges merchandise displays in an attractive manner and features current, popular, or other saleable items. Restocks and rotates inventory.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of boathouse, displays, boats, and work areas. Sweeps and mops floors, dusts furniture, empties wastebaskets, etc.
- Opens and closes the boathouse with attention to security of all assets and attention to detail when completing clerical duties.
- Cashiers are required to be able to regularly lift 20 lbs.
- Completes online and in-person training necessary to job duties.
- Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, with accountability and reliability a priority.

License and Certification Requirements
